Help Sandwell Council to create ‘Sandwell Story’

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council have commissioned thinkingplace to work with them to develop a long term, shared, place story for Sandwell, which will help build pride and local confidence, market the area to attract people to Sandwell, encourage inward investment and visitors, create jobs, and support existing business in the area.  

 Sandwell has some great assets, lots of potential, and more needs to be done to raise the profile and image of the area. With this in mind, the Council wants your views to help them to understand local issues and priorities as well as any ideas you may have for the future of Sandwell.

This is about:

• Making Sandwell a better place to live and work,

• Creating a place where people want to spend time and money,

• Understanding Sandwell’s assets so they can be better packaged,

• Ensuring it is an environment where businesses choose to locate, stay and grow ,

• Appreciating the assets that surround us which should be part of Sandwell’s story,

• Defining and celebrating what makes Sandwell special.
