Do you work with people who need a little encouragement to help them into work? Could they benefit from support to overcome barriers in accessing employment?

YMCA’s Gateway to Achieve Programme, follows a social prescribing model, offering wellbeing support and guidance to encourage those who are over 16 and deemed “economically inactive” to find the right job for them. YMCA believes in developing people in mind, body and spirit, giving everyone a fair chance to discover who they are and what they can become.

Based in YMCA West Bromwich on Carters Green, the Gateway to Achieve Project is funded by Sandwell Council; with around 30% of the local population considered “economically inactive,” YMCA is committed to supporting people in Sandwell to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
