The Let’s Chat Hub in West Bromwich Bus Station used to be looked after by Community Transport.  It is now managed by Walsall Community Transport, in addition to looking after the Walsall Bus Station Hub.

The Hub is open to all residents in the West Midlands and it provides local information, support, advice, signposting, activities and much more.  There is space for people to gather and have a chat over free drinks with company.

Let’s Chat Hub has recently been given an extra room next door which was originally the old bus ticket office. Funders would like this space to be used to provide wellbeing and education groups for the people of Sandwell. To that end, the Hub is looking to work with local charities and companies who could provide activities and groups sessions that would be open for the public.

Currently, Citizen’s Advice have pop-up sessions. Healthwatch visits monthly and Just Straight Talk is running a 12-week computer refresher course.

If you are interested in advertising your services or running a group from the Hub, Louise Colledge from the Let’s Chat Project would like you to get in touch on 07852 275 042, particularly if you can provide sessions that are based on learning or health and wellbeing.

The Hub opens Monday to Friday between 10 am and 2 pm but it can work around these times if your group would like to offer anything later in the day. Let’s Chat is also looking for information on groups and activities that already run locally, to signpost more people to relevant services. Please feel free to email across information, posters, or leaflets to lcolledge@walsallct.org.uk if you feel it could benefit local residents.
