Friar Park Millennium Centre is delighted to have received £185,800 from the Henry Smith Charity to strengthen the Friar Park community. This grant will enable the centre to provide local social and community activities such as craft groups, physical activity and support single parents with children who have a learning disability and/or SEND.

Julie Jones, CEO at Friar Park Millennium Centre said ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for us to develop our activities and sustain our core offer here in Friar Park. We’re so excited about what this means for the centre and the lasting legacy it will enable us to create.’

‘It’s just incredible to receive this level of investment from Henry Smith Charity at a time when it’s becoming harder for community organisations to meet the rising demand for their servces whilst struggling with higher bills.’

If you would like more information about any of the services or community activities being held at the centre; contact Leanne on 01215560139 or leannejones32@yahoo.co.uk
