Wolverhampton LGBT+ is a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting the needs of the LGBT+ community in Wolverhampton and The Black Country (including Sandwell)

Among their range of services, one of the most vital is their inclusive counselling service, which offers a safe, confidential space for LGBT+ individuals to discuss their feelings and experiences. This service is specifically designed to be inclusive, providing tailored support that respects diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Trained counsellors with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by LGBT+ people, including issues such as discrimination, coming out, family dynamics, and mental health struggles, offer compassionate and empathetic guidance.

The counselling service aims to empower individuals, helping them navigate emotional difficulties and build resilience in a non-judgmental environment. Wolverhampton LGBT+ works hard to ensure that everyone feels heard, valued, and supported, regardless of their background or personal circumstances.

Beyond counselling, Wolverhampton LGBT+ also provides many social support groups including regular meet-ups and physical activities . These additional services help foster a sense of community, combat isolation, and encourage positive relationships. By focusing on inclusivity and accessibility, Wolverhampton LGBT+ ensures that everyone has the opportunity to thrive, feel connected, and live authentically.
