Have your say on Sandwell Council’s budget consultation

Each year, the council is legally required to set a balanced budget. Sandwell is not yet facing the extreme financial difficulties that some other local authorities are. However, demand for our services is rising – and the cost of running them is too.

We must continue to manage our finances responsibly and this means that there are still some difficult decisions to make about options for the future.

We need to change our services so we can give the best possible outcomes for our residents, while managing the council’s money and resources responsibly.

That’s where you come in.
You can get involved in how we set our budget for 2025/26 by taking part in our consultation, where we will show you the proposals we are considering for next year’s budget.

We want your views on these proposals to help us make decisions on how we spend our budget next year.
