Does your organisation submit applications right before the deadline or search for evidence at the last minute? Then this online session is for you, as SCVO’s session will explain why it’s important to have a case for support in place prior to applying for funding.

In today’s competitive fundraising environment, it has never been more important to consider what sets you apart from other charities or not-for-profits.

We regularly hear that having a comprehensive case for support is important. This is a key document that acts as your ‘bible’ supporting all your fundraising applications and communications. However, it’s not always clear what goes into making one and how we should be using them.

Our online session, being held on Thursday 24th July 2025, 10am via a Zoom Conference Call, is aimed at Sandwell community, voluntary and social enterprise organisations, providing participants with practical information and expert top tips you can take away and put into practice!

    The online session aims to:

    • define what a case for support is and why you need it.
    • explain what actually goes into a case for support, enable you to develop stronger cases for support.
    • demonstrate how to build your case for support.
    • provide practical resources, hints and tips to help you when developing your own case for support.
    • Help you develop fundraising tools and processes to be as effective, efficient, and simple as possible!

Booking onto the session is essential via TicketTailor by clicking here, as spaces are limited for this virtual session. Please note, an email invitation to join the virtual session will be send out by SCVO in advance and prior to the commencement of the session. Don’t forget to check your junk / spam for your access email.

If you have any questions, please contact Libby Mahoney via email at libby@scvo.info

Avoid disappointment and subscribe to our free weekly e-bulletin at www.scvo.info, to ensure you are one of the first to know when the tickets go live on TicketTailor.
