NHS Black Country ICB are excited to announce that they are currently organising a Sandwell Health and Care Partnership event to celebrate National Fitness Day on 24 September. National Fitness Day is an annual campaign that encourages people of all ages and abilities to be more active and celebrate the benefits of physical activity. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity for both physical and mental wellbeing.
They would like to invite voluntary and community sector organisations to have a stall offering advice, support and information aligned to the theme of health and well-being. They are looking for stalls to have an engaging and interactive aspect to encourage people to engage with you on the day.
The event is open to staff, patients, visitors, and wider communities including schools within the area and will be held at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, so there will be plenty of space for partners to get involved and join in on the celebration. This is a great opportunity for us all to come together as a Partnership and raise awareness of what is offer in Sandwell to our people and communities.
If you would like to get involved on the day and/or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch by contacting swbh.engagement@nhs.net
