If you don’t already know, the Black Country Workwell Programme is an initiative aimed at helping individuals with health conditions/disabilities (including those who self-diagnose) return to, remain in, or thrive in employment. This forms part of the UK Government’s Get Britain Working initiative.
As part of the programme and in partnership with Black Country Together, Workwell have put a call out to the VCSE sector for referrals into the service and we believe your organisation is particularly well placed to refer individuals, given the nature of the support you offer and the community you serve.
Organisations where referrals are successfully placed in the programme will receive £400 per individual.
As part of the programme One Walsall will co-ordinate the finances for all approved referrals that come through to Black Country Together. I am therefore writing to introduce myself as co-ordinator and the contact for any financial related queries.
