VCS Briefing – Employment and Skills Hub

SCVO is facilitating a briefing session delivered by Sandwell Council’s Employment and Skills Team on the forthcoming Employment and Skills Hub and 6 town Spoke Model. 

This session will provide voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations with an overview of the proposed service model, including how hub and spoke partners will work together to deliver coordinated employment, skills and progression support across Sandwell.

Taking place on Monday 7th September 2026 from 11.00am – 12noon through Teams.

Attendees will gain insight into the commissioning process, including expression of interest arrangements, eligibility criteria, partnership expectations and indicative timescales, as well as the opportunities available for organisations to contribute as a sole applicant or within a partnership.

The briefing is an excellent opportunity for VCSE organisations to understand the future direction of employment and skills provision in Sandwell, explore potential collaboration opportunities and prepare for upcoming commissioning opportunities.
