AchievementsSCVO is committed to giving the best possible service to our members, local partners and stakeholders, and all who we are engaged with.

Consequently SCVO undertake periodic external assessments against established quality standards to ensure we can both continuously improve our services as well as measure the progress we are making.

National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) Award

SCVO achieved the NAVCA Quality Award for infrastructure organisations initially in March 2008 and successfully renewed this Award in May 2011. The Award provides a nationally recognised means of demonstrating that SCVO delivers high quality services to the local Voluntary and Community Sector.

NAVCA is the national voice for the Voluntary and Community Sector local infrastructure organisations in England, and the Quality Award is a quality framework which is subject to a rigorous, evidence-based external audit.

The Quality Award assesses SCVO against 21 Outcomes across 5 Standards, looking in each case for evidence that SCVO provided or facilitated work which make a difference for clients and partners.

Feedback

SCVO is always interested in seeking feedback from its clients as to the quality and relevance of the services it offers and provides. All feedback, both positive and negative, enables SCVO to review its working practices, plan for the future and shape support to be timely, appropriate and effective.
