Small local community groups, charities and social enterprises in Birmingham and the Black Country can apply for grants of up to £2,000 to help people facing disadvantage and social exclusion.
To be eligible for funding the applicant organisation needs to be constituted, have an income of less than £250,000 per year and meet one or more of the following:
Promote health and wellbeing
Support local solutions to meet local needs
Promote community cohesion
Develop sustainable and supportive communities.
The funding can be used:
For start-up costs for a new project or organisation
To extend or develop an existing project
For a pilot project (to gather research or evidence)
To purchase equipment or resources.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
