Creative Black Country is developing a new initiative to support fundraising for arts and culture in the region for these challenging times. There are two ways to benefit. Are you looking to develop fundraising skills or are you looking for someone to help your fundraising?
The Fundraising Fellowship Scheme will offer:
Fellow: training, mentor support and real-life experience for people looking to develop fundraising skills.
Host: creative organisations, groups, artists and festivals the option to host a ‘fundraising fellow’ to boost fundraising capacity or support applications for a project.
The aims are to:
• Support emerging fundraisers or those whose role may need these skills e.g. Producer
• Support the organisations, groups, artists who may only need someone for a few days, or on a project basis, who can’t afford to pay a fundraiser.
• Create a fundraising resource that could be shared across the region
• Raise the profile of fundraising as a career choice (a role always in demand!!)
To register interest as a Fellow or Host and more information please click here.
There is limited availability so please register interest by mid-day 1st December 2021.
