BUDS was established in 2008 and is a Registered Charity and a Limited Company in its own right and has developed the following services in response to local need:
• Befriending Service
• BUDS Clubs
• Carer Support Service
• Advice & Guidance
• Training & Development
Main Purpose of the Job
To support in the coordinating of a programme of stimulating activities tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• To travel to various community locations within the Sandwell area to help facilitate BUDS Clubs and provide cover.
• To initiate ideas for activities for the clubs, and to work alongside the club coordinator to implement these.
• Assisting in the support of clients with personal care needs ie feeding and toilet needs.
• To produce a detailed end of club report and supporting documentation to evidence the outcomes of BUDS Clubs.
Location: Various community locations throughout Sandwell
Closing date: Wednesday 9th November 2016
Contract: Permanent (subject to 6 months probation period)
Hours: 12 per week (additional hours may be available on a weekly basis)
