The CEO’s working week is 37 hours per week (post will require some evening and weekend work)
Salary: APT + C Point 38 – £33,437 per annum paid monthly

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
To take overall responsibility for the management of the Carers Advice & Resource Establishment, Sandwell (CARES) and to ensure that, together with the Board of Trustees, CARES achieves its strategic aims and complies with all legal obligations as a charity.
To work with the team of staff and volunteers to improve the quality of life for unpaid carers and to ensure the delivery of a high quality, effective and efficient carer focussed service in the Sandwell area and its environs.
To hold the position of Company Secretary and, with the Board of Trustees, ensure that all legal compliance is met.
To provide the lead role in fundraising to include identifying and implementing appropriate funding and tendering for statutory contracts and grants to ensure the continuity and
development of services to carers. In conjunction with staff, to ensure appropriate reporting and data collection to comply with funders requirements and to liaise with statutory and other funders as necessary to further the work of CARES.
To work in partnership with Carers Trust Network Partners to deliver joint projects and initiatives and to be aware of and develop other opportunities for partnership working of benefit to carers and CARES.
To promote and maintain a public profile for CARES, representing carers and CARES in all appropriate forums and at partnership meetings.
