Are you able to create opportunities that enhance quality of life and have a lasting impact? for example, making localities friendlier, safer, healthier etc. places to live.
Would some funding help those aims?
If you can answer ‘YES’ to the above, then the Community Partnerships Grant Programme could be the place for you!
The purpose of the programme is to enable local voluntary and community organisations to access grants through a co-design approach, supporting Sandwell Council’s ‘Community Partnership’ principles and for active participation of residents/volunteers in project design and delivery.
The programme aims to encourage the development of new/different ways of working or engaging with people, with a focus on increasing self-help within communities over the long-term.
To be eligible to apply, organisations need to be able to confirm that they fit within Sandwell Council’s definition of the Third Sector, and that they are currently actively delivering services to residents in Sandwell.
The programme OPENS on Tuesday, 8th May 2018 and CLOSES at 12 noon on Monday, 4th June 2018.
Applications will follow a 2-stage process: an initial ‘Expressions of Interest’ form will be assessed to go forward to a second stage – a 20-minute presentation to a Grant Panel incl. Q&A regarding the presentation/application.
Whilst the programme is open to applications supporting all beneficiary groups, the Panel would be interested to receive applications that have a specific focus on supporting School Readiness and Reducing Isolation.
Full details of the criteria, timeline and conditions can be found in the Guidance Notes (below).
