Continuing the spirit and success of the Sandwell Libraries Jazz Festival, Alan Barnes/Dave Newton will be playing at Great Barr Library.
Alan Barnes has been a long established name in British jazz and is best known for his work on clarinet, alto and baritone sax. Alan has received over 25 British Jazz Awards and plays alongside Dave Newton. Dave is one of the UK’s most individual, versatile and technically assured pianists, and is a perfect fit for the little big bands that Alan loves to put together.
