The Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation (SACMHF) was founded in May 2000. SACMHF provides a range of bespoke culturally responsive services predominately for African Caribbean descendants and their families experiencing severe mental illness in the wider community.
The Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation, based at the Kuumba Centre, Boulton Road (off Spon Lane), West Bromwich, will be holding its first annual Caribbean Coffee Morning Fundraiser, on Friday 18th October, 10 am to 3 pm.
The Coffee Morning is open to the public and there will be a variety of Caribbean delicacies on sale such as Bun ‘n’ Cheese, Caribbean fruit cake, Coconut Drops, Gizzada, Sweet Potatoe Pudding, Toto etc. The treats and delicacies will be made by the Staff and some purchased from local Caribbean stores.
By serving Caribbean style treats and hot drinks on the day, SACMHF hope to bring a little piece of the Caribbean to the local community for all to enjoy and partake.
