Connexions Sandwell’s New Year New Start 2022: a careers event to motivate and inspire young people

Connexions Sandwell would like to extend an invite to 14 – 19-year olds (up to 25 for SEND) and NEET young people for the annual Connexions New Year New Start Careers Fair. In 2020, the event attracted over 1,500 young people and parents and 45 exhibitors.

This year’s event, in partnership with Apprenticeship Works, will be from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, 26 March 2022, at West Bromwich Albion Football Club, The Hawthorns, 9 Birmingham Rd, West Bromwich B71 4LF.   Thirty local and national employers, colleges, apprentice and training providers will be in attendance.

In addition, Connexions Sandwell Careers Advisers will be on hand to offer careers information, advice and guidance, so young people can discuss their options, ideas and the opportunities and career pathways open to them.

This is a ticket only event.  Attendees will need to book a 45-minute time slot, with numbers capped at 300 visitors per hour for Health & Safety reasons. For added reassurance, there will be sanitation stations and the wearing of face masks is optional.
