SCVO is working in partnership with the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation to help build long term resilience within Sandwell Communities.
The purpose of the EPIC (Empowering People in Communities) Grant Programme is to enable local voluntary and community organisations to access funding that supports the following broad outcomes:
EPIC is a 3 year grant programme aimed at improving the wellbeing of communities and tackling isolation and loneliness by building stronger relationships and building on what exists within communities.
Grants up to £80,000 will be available, for projects that are aimed at people of all ages who feel lonely or isolated and projects that aim to improve the wellbeing of communities.
Applicants can apply for 3 different levels of funding;
Applications for Round 1 will open on Monday 28th January 2019 and will close on Friday 15th March 2019.
The purpose of this briefing event is to provide prospective applicants with more detailed information regarding timescales, how to apply and what we are looking to fund. We encourage anyone thinking of applying to come along to one of the sessions, however attendance is not compulsory. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions and speak to us individually if you have specific project ideas.
To ensure the session is accessible to as many groups as possible, attendance is limited to 1 ticket per organisation.
