The Gas Safe Charity is delivering a series of free carbon monoxide (CO) awareness workshops across the UK in 2018 which are open to the voluntary and community sector, public sector and private care agencies.
There is a workshop at the Central Library, Broad Street, Birmingham, on the morning of the 7th March. The workshop will run from 09.30 and finish with lunch at 12.30. The Gas Safe Charity will also have an e-learning package ready shortly that participants will hear about.
The workshops are aimed at the staff and volunteers of any organisation that delivers services to vulnerable people in their own homes. Exposure to even low levels of carbon monoxide in someone’s home have been linked to a greater risk of falling, as well as signs of dementia.
