Free ERDF Workshop for Bid Writing

The Black Country Technical Assistance Team will be holding a free ERDF workshop for Bid Writing on Friday 6th April 2018, 9:45am – 3pm at Himley Hall, Dudley, DY3 4DF. 

The aim of this one-day workshop is to ensure that potential applicants to the ERDF Programme are fully prepared for the application process and its numerous complexities. The content will examine the ERDF Programme Priority Axis for eligible actions and how these are interpreted within the Black Country LEP strategies. It will also review how EU Law including Added Value, Cross Cutting Themes, State Aid and Public Procurement impact on project development. There will be a focus on project design and the management of Match Funding through delivery, as well as a tour of the ERDF application stages and documentation format.

The workshop will cover:

  •  Key objectives of the ERDF Priorities and the LEP’s ESIF Strategy
  • Examination of the Programme’s key economic intervention actions and outcomes and how these impact on project design.
  • Review of how intervention funding operates and the role of match funding.
  •  Overview of the application process and the structure of the Outline and Full application forms
