‘Getting Back to Work’ – SCVO HR Seminar (SCVO)

As we begin to look towards a post-pandemic future, many of us will be asking the question ‘what should be different?’ about the future and how can we ensure our charities and not-for-profit organisations continue to stay relevant and effectively deliver our mission within the local community – how do we keep the ‘good stuff’ we’ve learned during the pandemic and embed this in our delivery going forward? This includes, of course, how we work with those people who are key to making things happen: our staff and volunteers.

This seminar, delivered by Black Country legal firm Higgs and Sons in partnership with SCVO, will aim to provide voluntary sector leaders and managers with information, guidance and food for thought on what options might be available to retain and sustain happy and effective staff teams.

Although this seminar is principally aimed at those organisations with paid staff, it is open to ANY voluntary and community organisation active in Sandwell and contains something for everyone.

The seminar takes place on Thursday, 13th May 2021 from 10 – 11.30am and will be delivered via an online platform (Zoom/Teams etc.)
