Mental Health Awareness Week will run from Monday 10th May until Sunday 16th May 2021. The theme for the week will be “Nature and the Environment”.
The theme was chosen in part because of evidence from the Foundation’s ongoing research into the coronavirus pandemic that access to nature has been one of the main ways people have supported their mental health during lockdowns.
The Mental Health Foundation has set the theme, organised and hosted Mental Health Awareness Week for the last 21 years, during which time the event has grown to become one of the biggest awareness weeks across the UK and globally.
