The People’s Parliament is a strategic body made up of local people with current or recent lived experience of mental health difficulties. We work in coproduction with decision makers to shape policy, practice and services in Sandwell. We also hold agencies to account with regards to mental health support and provision. Our approach is aspirational, so we learn from national best practice as well as sharing our own.
Sandwell’s Mental Health People’s Parliament invites you to a mental health round table event on Friday 9th March at 3.30 – 4.30pm.
The round table event will bring together local people to discuss and answer questions about mental health provision in Sandwell. There will be a particular focus on mental health care when someone is experiencing a crisis at evenings and weekends. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about future opportunities and plans for improvement.
