Mental Health Round Table Event

9 March 2018 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

The People’s Parliament is a strategic body made up of local people with current or recent lived experience of mental health difficulties. We work in coproduction with decision makers to shape policy, practice and services in Sandwell. We also hold agencies to account with regards to mental health support and provision. Our approach is aspirational, so we learn from national best practice as well as sharing our own.

Sandwell’s Mental Health People’s Parliament invites you to a mental health round table event on Friday 9th March at 3.30 – 4.30pm.

The round table event will bring together local people to discuss and answer questions about mental health provision in Sandwell. There will be a particular focus on mental health care when someone is experiencing a crisis at evenings and weekends. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about future opportunities and plans for improvement.

The round table will include:

  • James Morris, MP for Halesowen & Rowley Regis (Chair)
  • Sandwell’s Mental Health People’s Parliament
  • Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council
  • Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Black Country Mental Health Foundation Trust

The round table event will be held at The Westminster School, Curral Road, Rowley Regis, B65 9AN. To book a place in the audience, please contact Rosalind on 0330 302 0770 or Rosalind@changingourlives.org
