More about the band:
Steve Ajao has been a much respected figure on the Birmingham music scene for over 30 years. Starting as a drummer, he was working as a blues guitarist in various bands by his late teens. Later he reinvented himself as a bebop saxophonist, appearing in many London clubs and memorably sharing the bandstand with ex-Charlie Parker trumpeter Red Rodney.
