Understanding Extremism Training

This one day Sandwell focused training explores issues relating to the ideology of Global Jihadism and Extreme Far Right; it will equip delegates with the ideological understanding that underpins different extreme groups.
This training is available to all staff and partners in Sandwell for free.
The training will cover:
- Enhance knowledge of extremist ideology
- Challenge terrorist narrative
- Understand drivers and influencing factors
- Safeguarding and referral processes
- Signs and symbols of extreme groups
- Promote cohesion
