Not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £2,000 for projects working to reduce disadvantage experienced by the most deprived people in the community. These include the disabled, those living in poverty, voluntary carers and isolated older people.
Larger organisations with a turnover in excess of £300,000 are unlikely to be successful with those located near to a Greggs shop most likely to receive awards.
The funding is being made available through the Greggs Foundation Local Community Projects Fund.
The closing date for applications is the 8th June 2020.
