We know there is a lot of misinformation among our communities and an overwhelming volume of health information that often changes. We rely on your trusted voice to share information, which we know makes a huge difference to the health of our population.
To help we’ve been working with the local NHS; Black Country and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), to coproduce a monthly set of key health messages that you can share with your audience and networks. We’ll call this ‘Healthy connections’ and it’ll be live on the CCG’s website so it’s always up to date and accurate.
The top messages for June are:
- Your local pharmacy is here for you
Advice on when and why you should visit your local pharmacy and opening times for the bank holidays. - Download the handy NHS app
The NHS app is a simple and secure way of accessing a range of NHS services on a smartphone or tablet. - COVID-19 vaccine – a reminder of who is eligible
Reminder of who is eligible for the vaccine and where to go for it - One Health and Care – your local shared care record
A confidential NHS shared care record for the Black Country and West Birmingham
