Heart of England – Birmingham & Black Country Fund

Heart of England Community Foundation is promoting the BBCC (Birmingham & Black Country Communities) Fund, in the Black Country. At a recent panel meeting at Heart of England it emerged that just 3% of applications were from the Black Country.

The Fund aims to support people in Birmingham and the Black Country and Coventry. Grants of up to £2,000 are available.

Applications must meet one of the following aims:
• Promote health and wellbeing
• Tackling disadvantage
• Support local solutions to meet local needs
• Promote community cohesion
• Develop sustainable and supporting communities

The Foundation’s priorities this financial year are:
• Youth Opportunities – including skills development, raising employment aspirations, positive engagement with communities
• Health & wellbeing – including mental health, dementia, domestic abuse
• Building Stronger & Cohesive Communities – including tackling loneliness & isolate, support for migrants, developing community connection and integrating together

Support for Multi-Faith Projects
Heart of England Community Foundation also have a pot of funding to support activity which encourages community cohesion support multi-faith projects. If your organisation is looking at delivering a project which may fit this criteria why not consider applying. You can complete the BBCC fund application.
