Help to map project for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Mental Health Services

Diverse Matters is undertaking research into Mental Health Service provision for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in the Black Country Region in the West Midlands for Black Country and West Birmingham STP Healthier Futures.

The purpose of the research is to:

● undertake a mapping exercise of existing mental health service provision for Black Asian and Minority Ethnic communities living and working in the Black Country region.

● develop a report on the findings and identify any gaps in service provision detailing any recommendations to improve service provision.

● produce a directory of services on offer for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff working in the region and their families.

To achieve this, Diverse Matters is approaching organisations that provide mental health and wellbeing services regarding their provision, so services available can reviewed. Your support is required to achieve this outcome.

If you could take the time to complete the survey this would help to provide a valuable and comprehensive directory. It will further raise awareness and issues in supporting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic minorities who require mental health and wellbeing services. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes.
