Twenty Twenty One was a challenging year for churches, with many still struggling with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, yet the dedication and commitment of those involved in looking after these buildings continued to shine through.
Last year the National Churches Trust awarded or recommended 273 grants totalling £3.677 million to help keep churches open and in good repair. That includes £2 million from the Heritage Stimulus Fund, part of the Government’s Cultural Recovery Fund.
The National Churches Trust will be continuing their work in 2022. To find out more about the Trust and to see what grants are available, please visit the grant pages on their website.
