Severn Trent customers can vote to award their favourite project in each Award category via our website at www.stwater.co.uk/publicvote
To help Severn Trent customers choose who to vote for, you can search for local projects using our handy map and each project has filmed a 30 second video about how they’re making our communities an even better place to live.
Information about our Severn Trent Community Fund’s green focus for spring 2022
Severn Trent are really proud to have partnered with Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as its Official Nature & Carbon Neutral Supporter. Together we’ll assist their pledge to leave a carbon-neutral legacy – because when we look after nature, it benefits your water too!
To help maximise the legacy of the partnership, we have temporarily refocused the Community Fund for spring 2022 to specifically support projects that help communities all across the Severn Trent region reduce carbon and care for nature. Normally our Customer Panel decides where the awards should go but in celebration, this time the power is in their customers hands.
Non-profit organisations and local community groups with an income of less than £500,000 (averaged over the last 3 years) have been shortlisted by our Customer Panel for a grant of £5,000, £10,000 or £20,000 to support their new community project linking to one or more of the following themes – green spaces, recycling and making the most of resources and water saving heroes.
Winners will be announced in May 2022.
