Sustainability West Midlands  seeks Office Manager and Senior Sustainability Adviser

Sustainability West Midlands (SWM) was established in 2002 and is the sustainability adviser for the leaders of the West Midlands. The vision is that the West Midlands is leading in contributing to the national target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 whilst addressing health inequality and driving inclusive growth. This is framed through SWM’s Roadmap to 2030. Sustainability West Midlands a not-for profit company that works with 100+ members who are leading individuals and organisations in the private, public, and third sectors. The organisation is looking to recruit an Office Manager and Sustainability Adviser and invites applications for these posts.

Office Manager
The Office Manager will provide the efficient and effective running of the office, finance, HR and governance systems to support the delivery of SWM’s Business Plan to 2025. This role will suit somebody with a skill set of financial management and a proven administration background, and who is creative and proactive in their approach. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a gift for organisation and attention to detail who enjoys a diverse range of activities.

Duration of post: Permanent after three-month probation
Part-time role: Three to five days per week with flexibility on pattern of working
Salary band: £20,500 – £25,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Senior Sustainability Adviser
The Senior Sustainability Adviser will provide solid and effective project delivery for the organisation while helping it grow. This is through direct project delivery, developing staff to deliver and helping the Chief Executive, Anna Bright, to secure new business in line with SWM’s Vision. The role helps deliver the objectives in the current SWM Business Plan to 2025.

Duration of post: Permanent after three-month probation
Full-time role: 37.5 hours and five days per week
Salary band: £33,000 – £44,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
