National Survivor User Network will be awarding grants to those facilitating community spaces where people with shared identities and experiences come together in support of one another’s wellbeing. This may be in the form of peer support, mutual aid or self-help groups, but is not limited to groups defining themselves in this way.
The grants are available for amounts ranging from £500 to £1,000 per project, and the closing date is 16th September 2022.
They are looking to fund groups who are led “by and for” members of communities, sharing experiences or identities with those they are creating spaces for. These groups are sometimes called “user-led groups”, but again, groups may not define themselves in that way.
