Consultations - OpinionRooted in the heart of the community, voluntary and community organisations in Sandwell are led by local people and consequently provide services which can flex and adapt to what people need as changes arise.

Organisations often meet and help people beyond the reach of established services, whether those people are excluded by barriers such as language, employment, culture, religion or confidence.

The local Sector has a key role in helping to shape local decisions, playing a role both as a provider of services and as an advocate for local people who may be socially excluded, vulnerable and without a voice.

SCVO supports the local sector in many different ways to engage in strategic conversations about services and priorities both within the borough and across the region, looking to ensure that Sandwell is a fairer and more equitable place to be for all local residents without exception.
