Residents can vote for their favourite green space in a national poll – with 10 Sandwell sites in the running. Voting closes on Sunday 30 September in Keep Britain Tidy’s Green Flag People’s Choice Awards.
The 10 most popular parks and green spaces in the UK will be announced in October.
Sandwell has 10 parks and green spaces awarded the Prestigious Green Flag by Keep Britain Tidy – and the People’s Choice Awards is a further chance for public recognition.
Last year Warley Woods was named in the national top 10.
Sandwell’s list for 2018 includes six town parks, a cemetery and crematorium, as well as Sandwell Valley Country Park and community-run Warley Woods.
You can vote for your favourite from almost 1,900 nationwide.

Councillor Bill Gavan, Sandwell council’s cabinet member for leisure, added: “So many people are involved in keeping our parks and green spaces looking great – from council staff and the council’s waste partner Serco, to the friends groups, community groups and volunteers.
“To get in the national top 10 last year with Warley Woods was great and we’d love to do even better this year – so please, get voting and show your support.”
