We are looking for participants to take part in a major national research project exploring the impact of Covid-19 on social cohesion across the UK!
They are looking for people like you to take part in a focus group over Zoom about your experiences of the pandemic. The questions asked in the focus groups help the researchers to understand people’s perceptions of others, their trust in different institutions, and how Covid-19 has impacted people’s togetherness in Greater Manchester and across the country.
Hearing your thoughts on the pandemic will be incredibly useful for us because it will help shape the direction of our work in your local area, and give us vital evidence to support this work in the future. The findings from our research are feeding into national discussions about the pandemic via SAGE and the SAGE sub-group on ethnicity.
The focus groups will be 1hr 15min long and will take place in April and May/June. The University of Kent is giving participants in the focus groups a £10 gift voucher for the first session in April and another £10 gift voucher for the second session in May/June.
The dates of the focus groups to choose from in April are:
- Wednesday 28th April at 10am (Black Country)
- Thursday 29th April at 1pm (Birmingham, Solihull and Coventry)
Dates for the focus groups in May will be communicated to participants directly once they have booked onto one of the focus groups in April.
Please contact email@example.com to book your place in a focus group session or if you have any further questions.
